As well as Minami Osawa, the “4th WPPC Isezaki City · Gunma citizen’s day” was also a huge success!
Again, while weather was still alright, parents’ and so on who came at Fuchakuji Park participated happily in the WPPC.
In addition, many foreigners also participated in WPPC.
There are 15 staff members and about 40 participants. People such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Philippines, Uganda, etc participated and became international WPPC.

We had a meeting with Ugandan people who applied for participation in advance and met at Honjo station and moved to Hwaseongji Park by car. Though the people in Uganda thought that they participated by seeing the homepage of this NPO corporation, in fact, it was the following process.

Ms. B in Uganda is interested in protecting human rights and is engaged in activities of NPO (NPO NGO Japan African International Development: JANIDA), and that NPO is participating in JANIC (International Cooperation NGO Center) It seems that our NPO has mailed to the JANIC mailing list and knew the WPPC of Iesaki this time and applied for participation.

Three people participated this time, one of them, Mr. A, said, “I love peace, like peoples like football, I like peace, what does peace do? Even I can not work or play without peace. “Today, I participated in the WPPC and I enjoyed it very much.” They are very cheerful and enjoyable people.

On this occasion, we can realize Peace Paul construction and holding WPPC in Uganda! Next season fall, September – November, Uganda’s capital, Kampala primary school and so on, it seems to be realized. Also, it is safe to be in Kenya next door. I’m looking forward to it now.
